Method

  • Step 1

    Rub together the dry ingredients in a bowl

  • Step 2

    Add the buttermilk or yoghurt and fold together until all the dry ingredients are incorporated

  • Step 3

    Remove from the bowl and roll it around in some dry flour to make it easier to handle

  • Step 4

    Make 2 even sized loaves. Place baking parchment onto a baking tray and both loaves. Score an X across the top.

  • Step 5

    Bake in pre-heated oven at 225 degrees for 25 mins. Turn after 15 mins.
